Hi my name is Debi Galloway. I am a Mom to 4 adult children (3 daughters, one son) a Nonni to 7 adorable grandchildren (6 girls, 1 boy), a sister to 6 siblings ( I am the oldest) and the wife of a fantastic husband. My passions are geneology, paper, organization (my daughters' would say it's more of an obsession with cleanliness), color coordination (my sisters' call me Garanimal), baking cookies and of course, my 7 grandchildren. What a mix!
The birth of my first grandchild started my passion for genealogy and paper. I wanted to record the history of our family in a way that would hold the interest of children. I used paper and pictures! I began the journey by making family tree scrapbooks for my Mom and my two oldest daughters. When I gave the book to my Mom for Christmas that year, she burst into tears. I thought to myself, this was a good idea! Most of the family (25+) was together that year and it was very entertaining to watch everyone re-live or be introduced to family tales.
That was almost 15 years ago and I am now getting ready to retire in 2018 and wanted to find a way to share my passion with others. My paper passion and color coordination brought me to Stampin' UP! No company coordinates better! I have been using their products for many, many years. I became a hobby demonstrator last fall to take advantage of the 20% discount. Selling product is not my main goal. However, if a sale comes my way every now and then, that's a bonus.
Blogging seemed the next logical step. I took the plunge! I am now learning lots of new things, making lots of mistakes and meeting new people which will certainly keep me engaged during retirement.
