Glitter Queens First Friday's Hop - FALL

Happy First Friday hoppers!  So glad you're here today.  It's hard to believe summer is winding down. However, as the days get shorter, nights cooler and leaves brighter, I get anxious to drag out all things Fall, so today's theme fits me perfectly.

For today's project, this pretty color combination caught my eye on Pinterest and whispered, "it's Fall" in my ear.  Copper is such an awesome color and Stampin' UP! captures it so well in their foil sheets. Great inspiration for me!  

I added orange to my color combo as I see shades of orange cascading down the skirt. 

This Autumn Greetings card is made with Wood Textures DSP, Copper Foil Sheets, Tangerine Tango and Island Indigo cardstock.  "Maple Leaf" is from Seasonal Layers Thinlits die set and the sentiment is from the new holiday catalog Seasonal Lanterns stamp set.  I just love this new bundle.   


Lanterns are a design staple for me so this set will get lots of use in my craft room.  

I also love Stampin' UP!'s new pizza box.  It's the perfect size for so many single serving treats, especially my gluten-free apple crisp.  It really needs a big scoop of vanilla ice cream 😋on top, but it will not fit😞. 

To decorate, I spritzed two shades of ink and stamped the box.  Then I added a belly band, ribbon and label from the "Label Me Pretty" stamp set.  The pizza box is now ready for gifting.

Welcome to First Fridays Glitter Queens Blog Hop

Hi!  I hope you are enjoying the awesome projects along our First Fridays Blog hop.  If this happens to be your first stop along the way our theme this month is Designer Series Paper.  

   

  Today I am sharing an easy, mini album  showcasing all of the papers available in the Delightful Daisy (144137) Designer Series Paper (DSP). Click HERE to see inside pages.
 

Clare Charvill from My Creative Spirit was my inspiration for this project. The overall album dimensions are 8" x 5 1/4" x  1/2".  I used Basic Black (12x12) card stock for the base album, Tranquil Tide card stock, ink and ribbon, Layering Love stamp set, Clear  Faceted Gems and my favorite piece of the DSP to decorate the album cover.  I used the rest of the DSP for the inside of the album along with Calypso Coral, Daffodil  Delight, Night of Navy, Old Olive and Whisper White card stock. I wanted to keep the album simple, but you could easily customize the pages by adding Stampin' UP! embellishments, larger photo mats and die cuts to your crafty heart's content.

For my second project, I made a matching card to complement the album. The card is 4 1/4" by 5 1/2" layered with DSP 4 1/8" by 5 3/8".  I used Wink of Stella to fill in the little heart and finished the card with 3 Rhinestone Basic Jewels.

 
 
I love to design the inside of my cards.  I added a 4 1/8" x 5 3/8" Whisper White mat and stamped the sweet message from the Layering Love (141965) stamp set.  This message really hits home with me.

The tags in the album are 2" wide and punched with the Scalloped Tag Topper. The message is inked with Tranquil Tide (144085)
